Why-How-What

FounderSoup  -  We believe that Entrepreneurship is a vehicle to change the world. Our mission at FounderSoup is to provide the most critical help to the entrepreneurs in the The FounderSoup Network – an organized group of the most talented & entrepreneurial affiliates of Stanford University. We’re helping the next great wave of founders find each other and start amazing ventures. We invite you to learn more below. -The FounderSoup Team

WHY  -  Entrepreneurship isn’t just about products, markets, and raising capital – it’s about people. In fact, we’re certain that people are the most important factor in building successful companies. We know this because we’re entrepreneurs as well: our team is made up of serial entrepreneurs who have navigated the entrepreneurial journey and have the successes (and scars) to show for it.

HOW  -  We believe that strong founder relationships ultimately lead to great companies. That’s why the FounderSoup experience revolves around developing a strong sense of trust among potential cofounders, which means we only work with people who are talented and trustworthy. To put it frankly, no assholes allowed – we’re interested in great ideas, but more importantly, we want to help only great people succeed.

But it’s not just the touchy-feely stuff that drives us. We’re about structure, testing, validation, all that good stuff – after all, we’re a start-up too. We built the FounderSoup process around feedback loops, allowing founders to learn more about themselves, their network, and the beginnings of the entrepreneurial journey.

WHAT  -  So what are we doing? We’re holding fun, interactive events that develop trust and inspire innovation. We’re developing a digital portal to help founders meet others who share their passion and values. We’re growing a network of the best mentors, partners, and founders around. Most importantly, we’re helping build the next generation of universe-denting companies in Silicon Valley, one relationship at a time.
